Will it work with my laptop?
Most Windows laptops have a full-size HDMI port, and one HDMI cable is all you need.
Many MacBooks and slim laptops have only USB-C or Thunderbolt ports. For those, use a USB-C to HDMI or USB-C to DisplayPort cable or adapter. A MacBook Air with the M1 chip supports one external display.

Setting up a second screen
- On Windows, press the Windows key and P together and choose Extend, so the two screens work as one wide desk.
- On a Mac, open System Settings, then Displays, and drag the two screens into the order they sit on your desk.
- Put the top of the monitor at or just below eye level, about an arm's length away.
- Use the tilt to cut glare from a window or a ceiling light.
Monitors for an office or a training room
Companies renting several monitors, or monitors together with laptops, are billed on a GST invoice. Build one company quote for the laptops and the screens so the whole desk set-up is priced together.
