What to put in your asset list
The more detail the list has, the closer the first quote comes to the final price. One row per model is enough when the laptops are identical.
- Make and model, for example Dell Latitude 5420 or Lenovo ThinkPad T14.
- Processor and generation, for example i5 10th gen, i7 11th gen or Apple M1.
- Memory and storage, for example 8GB and a 256GB SSD.
- How many of each model.
- Condition of the screen, keyboard, battery and body, and any that do not power on.
- Whether the chargers are included.
What changes the price of a batch
We quote each laptop by its model and its grade. The things that move a laptop's grade and resale value are the ones you would expect:
- Age and processor generation: newer generations resell for more.
- Memory and storage: SSDs and 16GB of memory hold their value better than hard disks and 4GB.
- Condition: cracked screens, worn keyboards and weak batteries lower the grade.
- Completeness: chargers included, and laptops that still power on.

Every drive is wiped to NIST SP 800-88, you receive the certificate of data destruction, and we pay by bank transfer.
Questions about selling laptops in bulk
Do you buy laptops that do not work?
List them with their fault. Whether we can buy non-working units, and at what price, is confirmed in your quote after grading.
Can you collect from an office outside Bangalore?
We buy from companies anywhere in India. Tell us the city when you send the list and we will confirm how collection works.
What paperwork do we get?
The purchase is documented for your company's books, and you receive one certificate of data destruction for the lot, listing each laptop by make, model and serial number. Techvity IT Solutions is GST-registered (GSTIN 29DETPA8734P1ZH).
