Backups that actually work
- Keep at least three copies of important files, on two different kinds of storage, with one copy away from the office (the 3-2-1 rule).
- File sync services such as OneDrive or Google Drive are not a complete backup: a deleted or encrypted file syncs too. Version history and a separate backup protect against that.
- Back up automatically; manual backups are forgotten.
- Test a restore now and then. A backup that cannot be restored is not a backup.

Do you supply the antivirus software?
We install and maintain the antivirus you choose, including one you already have. Tell us your current set-up and we advise.
Is OneDrive or Google Drive enough as a backup?
Not on its own. Sync services copy deletions and damaged files too. Version history plus a separate backup is safer.
Can you set this up remotely?
Much of it, yes. Some devices need a visit, which we arrange at your office in Bangalore.
Do you cover Macs?
Yes: MacBooks as well as Windows laptops and desktops.
How is it billed?
Monthly billing under a service agreement, or billing per job, on a GST invoice.
