- MacBook Air: Apple's thin and light MacBook: Intel models up to 2020, Apple silicon from the M1 on.
- MacBook Pro: 13-inch to 16-inch models, Intel and Apple silicon.
Find your MacBook's model number
The model number, an A followed by four digits (for example A1466), is printed in small type on the bottom case. If the MacBook starts, the Apple menu, then About This Mac, shows the model and year. Send both to us with the problem.
What is different about MacBook repairs
On Apple silicon MacBooks, and on many Intel models from recent years, the memory and the storage are soldered to the logic board. They cannot be upgraded, and a storage fault is a board-level repair, so back up regularly.
Batteries are fixed in with adhesive rather than clipped in, so a battery replacement takes more work than on most Windows laptops.
Some MacBook Air and MacBook Pro models from 2016 to 2019 use Apple's butterfly keyboard, known for sticking or repeating keys.
If your MacBook has had a spill
- Switch it off and unplug it straight away. Do not charge it or start it up to check.
- Skip the hair dryer and the bag of rice; bring it in as soon as you can.
- Tell us what was spilled: water, tea, coffee and sugary drinks behave differently.
- If it is covered by AppleCare+ or Apple's warranty, check with Apple first; an independent repair may affect that cover.
MacBook repair for companies
Offices in Bangalore can have MacBook devices repaired on site, collected and returned, or supported remotely, with monthly billing under a service agreement or billing per job on a GST invoice.
Questions about MacBook repair
Can you upgrade the RAM or SSD on my MacBook?
On MacBooks where the memory and storage are soldered to the board, including every Apple silicon model, they cannot be upgraded. Tell us your model number and we will tell you what is possible for yours.

Screen replacement is one of the repairs we quote. We diagnose the MacBook free and quote the screen for your exact model before any work starts.
Can you collect my MacBook for repair?
Yes. WhatsApp your address, the model number (A and four digits) and the problem, and we confirm a pickup time. You can also walk in to our Koramangala centre: every day, 9:30 AM – 9:30 PM.
Is there a warranty on a MacBook repair?
Yes: 1 month on the repair we carry out.
